The Occupational Health and Safety (Non-thesis) program aims to train qualified staff by providing related courses to the employees who are graduates of various faculties and completing graduates’ lack of knowledge.
Duration: The duration of the program is 2 years. Students are supposed to complete at least 30 credits. Students also need to have at least 5 compulsory courses (15 credits/35 ECTS, 3 hours per week), 5 elective courses (15 credits/30 ECTS), and research project course (non-credit/40 ECTS).
The fee for one term is 3500 TL. In case of any failure in the compulsory courses, students shall take these courses again if available in the second term. In case of any failure in elective courses, students shall take any available elective course. So, those students are not supposed to provide extra payment since they have already paid for the second term.
In case of failure in the study period (2 years), those students shall enrol in 5 courses (each for +600 TL, including the Research Projects course) and more than five courses providing the term payment (3500 TL). For those who are not registered to the program but demand to take courses, each course requires a payment of 600 TL (3 credits per course).
Graduates with a bachelor’s degree (+4 years departments) can apply for the Occupational Health and Safety (Non-thesis) Master’s Degree Program.
ALES score and foreign language test score are not required. The placement of the students is made regarding the diploma scores of students. In case of any vacancy due to non-registered students, substitute students are considered for placement.
