R&D activities consist of creative and systematic actions that aim to find the latest and creative applications and to improve the accumulation of knowledge.

Among these goals, improving the efficiency, the rate of added value, and the competitive capacity of the institutions on national/international platforms. To be considered an R&D product; it is supposed to be original, creative, unspecified, systematic, transferable, sustainable and open to improvement.

In this context, KTU DEARC aims to improve its technology and innovative capacities in a more competitive way, do systematic projects, develop products with high added value, have a corporate culture for research and technology, and take part in national/international grant programs via the funding provided for projects.

In the project-development process, carrying out joint projects with TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey), KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organisation), EU, and universities provides us with effective results by not only working with experts in specific fields but also improving our vision.
