Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim OKUMUŞ
Born in 1963 in Çayeli district of Rize province, Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Okumuş completed his secondary and high school education in Çayeli. Upon graduating from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University in 1992, he worked as a research assistant in the same department between 1992-1996. He received his PhD degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bristol University, England, in 2001. In 2001, he moved to Karadeniz Technical University as an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He was promoted to the Associate Professorship in 2013 and Professorship in 2018. He served as the vice-chair of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University, as the vice director and director of the Distance Education Center, and as the acting secretary-general of the university, to which he was appointed for about two years. Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Okumuş is the head of the Department of Electrical Machines, where he is still a faculty member. He has been serving as a vice-rector since 2018. He has published articles in national and international indexed journals (TR Index, SCI, SCI-Exp., etc.) and a number of publications presented at national and international symposiums and conferences on Electrical Machines and Drives, Direct Torque Control (DTC), Power Electronics, Electrical Vehicles and Renewable Energy Technologies.

Prof. Dr. Akif CİNEL
Born in 1961 in Trabzon, Prof. Dr. Akif Cinel completed his upper secondary education at Istanbul Kabataş High School in 1977. Upon graduating from Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1985, he completed his compulsory service in Ağrı between August 1985 and October 1987. As a result of the examination for specialty in medicine in September 1987, he started his specialization in General Surgery at KTU Faculty of Medicine. He achieved the title of General Surgery Specialist in July 1992. He worked as a specialist in the Department of General Surgery at KTU Faculty of Medicine between July 1992 and October 1994. He was appointed as Assistant Professor in the same department in October 1994. He served as the assistant chief physician at Farabi Hospital between 1994 and 1996. He was promoted to Associate Professorship in 1997 and Professorship in 2003. He served as the vice dean of the Faculty of Medicine from 2004 to 2010 and as a dean from 2010 to 2016. He has been serving as a Vice-Rector since August 31, 2020.

Prof. Dr. Cemil RAKICI
Born in Rize in 1974, Prof. Dr. Cemil Rakıcı completed his secondary education in İyidere and high school education at Rize High School. He was admitted to the Department of Finance at Dokuz Eylül University, where he received his master's degree in 2002 and his PhD. Degree in 2008. He worked as a research assistant in the Department of Finance at Dokuz Eylül University between 1999 and 2008. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance at Karadeniz Technical University in 2008. He received the titles of Associate Professor in 2012 and Professor in 2018. He held positions such as vice-chair, head of the department, and vice dean in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Karadeniz Technical University. Prof. Dr. Cemil Rakici is still a faculty member in the Department of Finance and has been serving as a vice-rector since 28.08.2020. He has various studies on underground economy, poverty and income distribution, finance theory, and tax practices.
