The Results of Scientific Evaluation Process for the TÜBİTAK 2209 Programs in 2023/2 Period Have Been Announced.

TÜBİTAK 2209/A Research Projects Support Program for Undergraduate Students and TÜBİTAK 2209/B Industry Oriented Research Project Support Program for University Undergraduate Students in 2023 2nd period results have been announced.

171 undergraduate students of KTÜ applied for project support within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2209/A Program for the 2023/2 period. Out of these applications, 124 students' projects have qualified for support. Our university ranked 17th among 198 universities based on the number of supported projects. Within this program, our university has exceeded the overall support rate for this period with a 73% support rate.

34 undergraduate students of KTÜ applied for project support within the TÜBİTAK 2209/B Program in the 2023/2 period. 19 of these applications have qualified for support. Our university ranked 15th among 103 universities based on the number of supported projects. In this program, our university has maintained a support rate of 56%, consistent with the overall support rate for this period.

The TÜBİTAK 2209/A Research Projects Support Program for Undergraduate Students encourages undergraduate students enrolled in associate/bachelor's programs at universities to conduct research through projects. It provides a maximum grant of 9,000 TL for up to 12 months to cover expenses such as machinery/equipment, consumables, travel, and service procurement required for projects. In this context, associate/bachelor's students prepare their projects under the guidance of their advisors and submit their applications.

The TÜBİTAK 2209/B Industry Oriented Research Project Support Program for University Undergraduate Students aims to encourage undergraduate students enrolled in associate/bachelor's programs at universities to conduct research through projects focused on solving an industrial problem and/or improving and developing a product/method/process with potential application in the industry. It provides a maximum grant of 12,000 TL for up to 12 months to cover expenses such as machinery/equipment, consumables, travel, and service procurement required for projects. In this context, associate/bachelor's students prepare their projects under the guidance of academic and industry advisors and submit their applications.
